This book is a great introductory to the most advanced concept of perspective.
A great e-book discussing all aspects of perspective-architectural, anatomical, aerial, and more. It covers the history of the development of perspective principles, 1, 2 ,3, and 4 point perspective, how to calculate spacing, correct measuring, and much more. A definite must read.
After drawing and painting for years it is good for the professional artist to occasionally step back and review what he should know. This book is excellent for such a review.
Great Price today on a book that takes the artist through the fundamentals of drawing perspective. Highly recommended with many classical fine art examples.
It's quite a good book. It will take time to take it all in. I would have liked small examples to try at the end of each chapter.
This should be a must have for all artists. I always skirted the subject and wondered "how did they do that", especially with cityscapes. This book gives you a good foundation and explains clearly how to achieve the desired results. Best thing about it, used clearly understandable terms.

Clear, concise and definitely informative. I'm ready for the next thing from London.
I was taught to "draw what I see" - which admittedly is a very honest and an momentous motif, but not vey helpful putting a 3d image on a 2d platform. Perspective, if never accomplished by the artist will demolish any attempt to put a believable image on canvas. For myself it has been a complex left brain adversary I never accomplished and Vladimir's book really helped me to move the obstacles by letting me feel and understand the basics of perspective. I can truly recommend this book to any artist finding life drawing hostile. Putting all the building blocks of the body into recognizable form is impossible without a sense of depth; height and width. It is not something you will instantly feel or recognize, but an accomplished skill and because it is such a complex subject it is worth you while to invest in a talented author to explain the subject in elementary terms.
